Regardless of the field of activity, each individual would like to know their area of responsibility and job description.
However, it is never possible for each position to convey all of its expectations either written or verbal. That’s why some expectations include vague phrases such as “flexible working hours”.
If you flex you do not break.
Until you reach the breaking point.
When the ever-increasing additional responsibilities and/or long working hours outside the area of responsibility become a part of the routine, even those who flex begin to break down.
Some show their reaction by complaining while others leave the corporation they work for. The turnover rate starts to increase, the learning curve returns to the starting point with new recruitments.
There is a point that is often overlooked. Even if the content of the work performed by the employee within his area of responsibility changes, as long as the position does not change, the person/s in charge of the job is rarely informed and asked to be involved in the updating process.
If the whole responsibility of the life he lives belongs to the individual, who defined the responsibilities of the job descriptions of the concepts that come with business life? Furthermore, after starting the job, has it been evaluated together with the individual and updated upon taking his opinion into the consideration?
